Mark Alexander Mystery/Suspense Series
This is the story of Mark Alexander, a longtime investigative reporter for the St. Louis Post Newspaper. Working with St. Louis homicide detectives, he helps solve the most unsolvable murders. With the help of his partner Laquita Bush, Mark uses his powers of deduction and many resources to solve the crimes. Many times that includes stepping on toes (of especially the police) to get the crimes solved. With that, he and Laquita are the top investigative journalists.
After a deadend case and a bad marriage, he left the paper and, for ten years, had a career as an audio engineer at a television station. That was until the on-air murder of the main anchor sparked his interest despite some backlash from his workplace. That was until his past showed up to both haunt him and provide a beacon of hope. He's allowed to work the case with restrictions because he abandoned them ten years earlier. This is in between trying to convince those in his new world that he can solve this case if given a chance.
Then, this spills over into Garth: The Virtual Killer. Mark faces off against a computer hacking, woman hating serial killer. Working this case also involved training a new partner with her own prejudices and hangups. Together, they must track down the serial killer, but the case hits an early snag when someone is framed for the first murder. It wasn't until similar murders were being committed throughout the city that the hunt for a serial killer started. This case took a lot of turns things heat up for everyone involved. You have to read to learn more when it's republished. The name will be changed from Late Murder @ 10 to The Newsroom Assassin!
In between both cases, Mark is haunted by an old case which was a part of him quitting in the first place with the urging of the woman he married. This will be explored by future titles. This page will feature character profiles, easter eggs, short stories, book teasers and more. Stay tuned.
