This is the story of Bruce Williams and his journey for love, and that journey carries through these two books. While some stories will feature him, other books will continue as a side story. How To Lose A Black Woman is the story of Bruce Williams' search for love using social media and trial and error. Throughout his journey, he meets the woman he loves, but misunderstandings and miscommunications may cause him to lose his black woman.

     Geraldine Simpson, a widowed hairdresser, entrepreneur, and friend to Bruce Williams, headlines her own story as she begins her own search for love. During that journey, she meets two men. First she meets Kevin Douglas, a 55-year-old Iraq War veteran and UPS retiree with a few skeletons in his closet but who loves the 40-year-old Geraldine. Then, meet Lamont Glover, her 25-year-old attorney assigned to handle her financial assets by his law firm, develops a crush on the older Geraldine. When she gets to know both men and truths surface, she has to choose which man she wants to be with rather than who she ought to be with.
