Devina Morrow, a 62-year-old single woman, recently retired from her career as a 911 operator and contemplates her life. A single parent of one daughter, an interior decorator named Gracie who’s happily married to her husband, Dwayne Horsford, an O-5 Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force with a genius ten-year-old son Khristian, who’s not only a baseball prodigy, he also is a genius whom the school is currently thinking about allowing him to skip grades.

Devina goes to a speed dating event where she would meet one man who seemed normal. He said he works in THE MARKET and is “divorced” with five kids in which he and is “divorced” with five kids in which he and his wife aren’t on speaking terms.
